In Gratitude to Catherine and Jack Mahan

Before there was Triple "5" Farms, there was a quiet piece of land — rich with history, faith, and the gentle presence of a family who called it home. Though we never had the privilege of meeting Catherine Mahan or her husband, Rutherford Jack Mahan Jr., their legacy is woven into the very soil we now tend.

A Legacy of Faith and Family

Catherine, affectionately known as "Granny," was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church in Union City, where she sang in the choir and taught children's Sunday School for many years. Her love for God, family, gardening, and singing left an indelible mark on those who knew her. Jack, her husband of 50 years, shared in this life of devotion and community.

The Gift of Opportunity

When the Mahan family's children chose paths away from farming, the land became available, offering us the chance to pursue our dream. Without their decision, Triple "5" Farms might never have come to be. Their choice became our opportunity — a silent yet profound gift that changed our lives.

Honoring Their Memory

We strive to honor Catherine and Jack's legacy by nurturing the land with the same care and devotion they exemplified. Their spirit lives on in every harvest, every new life born on the farm, and every moment of joy we experience here.

Thank you, Catherine and Jack, for the foundation you've provided. Your legacy continues to inspire and guide us.
